A little bit about me...
I've been working in the IT security industry for over 15 years and have felt its ups and downs. I've felt the frustrations of bad jobs and elation of fun projects. Over the years I've also started investing time into helping people coming into the industry and sharing some of what I learned to make this new generation more successful.
These days I'm a cybersecurity leader with a focus on strategy, integration and operations. My Primary responsibility is to oversee any and all aspects of information security within the company, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data and systems.
I'm focused on performing the role of a Business Information Security Officer (BISO). Trying to understand what that entails, how to better the company using it, and what are some concrete skills and KPI one can use to improve as a BISO or a BISO team lead.
